As if her surname doesn’t give it away, Randi Zuckerberg is a big part of Facebook. The Director of Market Development for the social networking mega-site will speak at the Global Leaders Summit at this year’s GITEX. She’ll touch upon on the evolution of her brother’s brain child and will give tips on how companies can get in on the new-ish world of social media. It’s the thirtieth ever GITEX, and in Zuckerberg they have a speaker who is no stranger to major conferences; she last spoke during the opening day of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. I spend a lot of time on Facebook, but I’m not sure why. I look at it as a promotional tool, but I’m not sure it’s effective. My guess is that it’s not.
