Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan

The Abu Dhabi Golf Championship is hosted by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. And as the ADTA Chairman, HE Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan would have been handing out the prizes at the tourney to the golf greats Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Robert Rock.

Al Nahyan is also the Chariman of TDIC and has been involved in safeguarding the emirate’s tourism assets in line with Abu Dhabi’s Vision 2030. He also serves on a number of boards, including the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency and is a member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi Emirate, the policy-making governmental body that oversees Abu Dhabi’s developments and strategic plans. Al Nahyan has enough accolades to fill up more than a few rooms. And his influence also garners him an audience with global dignitaries, including this British Royal, who met him at the Clarence House in London in 2009.
