Mayor of Cannes, Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur, Knight of the Order of Merit, Knight of Arts and Letters, Medalist Youth and Sports, Member of Supreme Council of the French Language are just a few of the titles that Bernard Brochand has to his name. The Mayor of Cannes since 2001, Brochand hasn’t always been involved in the political scene. He started his career at Procter & Gamble’s marketing department, then he moved on to become the head of Eurocom in 1975 and shortly after he was appointed the Managing Director and CEO of DDB International.
