To those unfamiliar with the world of professional boxing, the name Floyd Mayweather Jnr. may mean nothing. But that lack of knowledge is sure to be scorned upon by hard-core boxing fans who know that American boxer Mayweather Jnr. is currently one of the world’s undefeated boxing champions with 41 wins. But there is a softer side to this lean-mean boxing machine. At a press conference after his fight against Carlos Baldomir in 2006, Mayweather shocked all when he broke down in tears and said: “I love the sport … One more fight and I’m through. I don’t need boxing. I’m not in it for the money. It’s about legacy. I’m rich and I’ve accomplished what I want.” Mayweather has recently announced that his next fight will take place in Dubai (though it’s unconfirmed), and many have speculated who the possible opponent will be. Some say it might at last be his arch-rival, Filipino boxing sensation…
