You know Manny Pacquiao has just been fighting when all the Filipinos stumble into work a little later than usual, rubbing their sleepy red eyes. In fact the National published an article this month about the diehard fans that beat sleep to watch Pacquio. Lerma Leyco, 54, a Philpino property agent, told paper, “One is never sleepy before a Manny Pacquiao fight.” Pacquiao, who recently defeated Mexican Antonio Margarito in Texas after 12 rounds to win the WBC super welterweight championship, is also a congressman in his native Philippines.
