George Clooney’s arrest for protesting against violence in Sudan has prompted Kipp to look out who might bail him out. Would Jordan’s Queen or Azerbaijan’s First Lady do it?

More than being the nephew of Francois Mitterrand, who was the President of France from 1981 to 1995, Frédéric Mitterrand is more famous for his ‘paid’ sexual exploits, which he revealed in his autobiography, than he is for being the Culture Minister of one of the richest cultures in the world.

But Mitterrand wasn’t always into politics, he studied history and economics and at one point he even taught these subjects in school. He also dabbled in acting, directing and producing a number of French films in his earlier days.

This year, however, Mitterrand is mostly seen socialising with royalty and most recently with this first lady…

    The crisis about which Clooney et al have been protesting is in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan, not South Sudan, which became independent last July. The problem is that the Nuba have been left in the hands of northern Sudan, whose government has already committed genocide in Darfur.
