One a few women in the global political scene, Maharashtra-born Pratibha Patil is the 12th president of India and the first woman to hold the office.
She has a master’s degree in political science and economics and while in collate was active in sports, particularly in table tennis.
Aside from politics, she has set up an educational institute with her husband, running a chain of schools and colleges across India.
With her platform centered on education, fighting poverty and pushing for human rights, she was asked to be the chairman of India’s first beauty pageant for eunuchs titled Indian Super Queen.
Support for the event also came from some of Bollywood’s biggest stars, who acted as jury members, including this legend who’s earned a spot as the seventh “best-looking man in the world” seven years ago…
