Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer is all over tech media right now for the company’s recent purchase of Skype. He is infamous in his own right however, for his extremely energetic behaviour during his presentations and interviews. Videos of his presentations are constantly making rounds on the interweb.

His antics could be the secret to his success as he is listed number 46 on the Forbes list of billionaires in 2011. He has a personal wealth estimated at $14.5 billion.

His energetic personality spills beyond his love for Microsoft. In 2008, he reportedly invested close to $300 million to keep help keep basketball team Seattle SuperSonics in Seattle. Unfortunately, the campaign failed and the Sonics relocated to Oklahoma and are now called the Oklahoma City Thunder.

As an avid basketball fan, Ballmer would have patted backsides with one of the greatest SuperSonic players in B-ball history…
