Diamond Christmas Cake

Created by: A Japanese pastry chef from Tokyo
Description: Debuted on the jewelry floor of Tokyo's Takashimaya Department store on Christmas Day, and sold off in 2005, this two-layered hexagonal fruit cake has 223 small diamonds embedded on the outside of the entire cake in beautiful floral design. The chef took nearly six months to come up with the design of the cake and finished baking it in a month.

Description: Arnaud’s Restaurant has a plain looking bowl of strawberries topped with cream and mint. But if you look a little bit closer, you will find that it has a rare 4.71-carat purple pink diamond with 79 carats of white diamonds and 18k rose gold that once belonged to Sir Ernest Cassel, a famous English financier. Also, the strawberries are pre-soaked in port wine.

Description: The ice cream sundae is created using Kilimajaro’s glacial ice, which is said to disappear in the next 10-15 years. When you buy one of their Kilimanjaro ice cream sundaes you get a first class ticket to Tanzania, an organic T-shirt, a guided tour to the peak of Kilimanjaro, and unlimited helpings of the ice cream made from glacial ice shavings of Kilimanjaro.

Description: Wrapped with gold leaf, the cannoli is rich in dark chocolate and is filled with whipped ricotta cheese mixed with candied lemon, chocolate and lemon peel.
Although, the non-edible version of the exclusive Cannoli (an Italian dessert) is up on display at Jasper’s Restaurant, the chef can prepare fresh Cannoli for the customer within 24 hours from the time of order. Once you are finished eating the exclusive Cannoli, you get to take home the expensive Italian Diamond necklace that was once owned by Tim Tivol.

Description: In 2007, this dessert was listed in the Guinness World Records as the most expensive dessert in the world. It is a combination of the finest cocoa, edible gold foil, and shavings of truffle. Served in a golden goblet, with whipped cream, gold dust and Knipschildt Chocolatier chocolate (Luxurious Chocolate shop where a chocolate can cost $2,600) on the top of the dessert is decorated with 5 grams of edible 23-carat gold and a bracelet made of 18-carat gold and 1-carat white diamonds.

Description: The Italian cassata is made up of gold leaf and flavoured with Irish cream. The dessert is served with mango & pomegranate compote and a base of champagne sabayon enlighten. The most expensive part of the dessert is the 80 carat aquamarine stone set in place by a handmade chocolate stilt. The guests can take the precious gem home as a keepsake. It is reported that not a single piece of the exclusive dessert has been sold so far.

Description: The sundae has five scoops of Tahitian Vanilla ice cream mixed with Madagascar Vanilla beans, sprinkled with a combination of the most expensive cocoa (Amedei Porceleana) and rare Chuao chocolate from Venezuela. It is also topped off with an assortment of candied fruits from Paris and decorated with a 23-carat edible gold leaf. The dessert is served in a Baccarat Harcourt crystal goblet (which you can take home as a keepsake) and an 18-carat gold spoon. Also, you get a spoonful of Grand Passion caviar and a gilded sugar flower along with the dessert.
