Walking hurts: Largest malls in the world

What was the longest distance you've ever walked? Kipp brings you 5 of the largest malls in the world. If you wanted to do a bit of shopping, you could probably skip a day or two at the Gym. Here they are from "smallest" to largest.

  • 1) The Berjaya Times Square in Kuala Lampur is one of the biggest retail areas in Malaysia and the globe. It has a Gross Leasable Area of 320,000 square meters.

  • 2) West Edmonton Mall in Canada comes in a close second. Located in Alberta and measuring a whopping area of 350,000 square meters.

  • 3) The Dubai Mall we have all grown to know and love is definitely in this top list. Located in one of the most prosperous cities in the Middle East. It attracts millions of visitors annually and spans an area of 350,000 square meters.

  • 4) Mall of Asia; like  its name it represents a wonderful symbol for the Philippines Islands. Located in Pasay with a GLA of 390,193 square meters.

  • 5) Central World in Bangkok, Thailand almost tops the  charts with an enormous space of 429,500 square meters.
