Paul Griffiths
Paul Griffiths is first CEO of the Dubai Airports, which was formed last year when the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority re-structured.
Griffiths was the former managing director of London Gatwick Airport. He was also the executive director at the Virgin Group, responsible for the commercial development of British airline Virgin Atlantic, before moving to a similar role at the Virgin Rail Group.
Griffiths is currently working on Dubai International airport’s Terminal 3 and Concourse 2, which are set to open by next year. He will also be overseeing work on the Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai World Central, which is said to become the world’s largest airport.
When he was heading Gatwick, he was one of the first to agree to a plan to help cut the world’s aviation emissions, which was proposed by his ex-boss…
