Layout

Facebook

Facebook's layout receives generally a positive vibe due to its familiarity. Many view it as have been cluttered in the past and there have been several changes to its outline including timeline, status updates, social division, etc. Cluttering has been a bad habit of Facebook with their many status feed changes, suggestive columns and timelines.

Google Plus

Google+ is clean but lacks the familiarty due to its BETA and fresh position. Organization skills that have gone into the design are worthy of applause. It is easier to browse through and an important and user friendly tool is division of people, activities and pages.
