Emaar has settled on Dubai Fountain for the name of its ‘iconic’ fountain.

Emaar had a naming contest for the enormous fountain display close to Dubai Mall, and after filtering through heaps of bad names a panel settled on Dubai Fountain.

So, Dubai Mall will face Dubai Fountain, close to Downtown Dubai, in Dubai. Nice.

Although Dubai is one of the most Googled words on the planet, Emaar may have take the ‘Dubai’ factor a bit too far.
