The Wall Street Journal reports that a group of advisors are in Dubai to help the emirate with its finances. According to the article, the advisors have told Zawya that they’re here to help the emirate reduce its risk of further damage to the emirate’s economy.
Now hold on a minute! We’ve been told time and again that everything’s fine, only to find out from a paper published thousands of miles away that it’s not. That doesn’t sound like the kind of transparency CEOs and government officials talked about at the World Economic Forum in Dubai, now does it. Can someone shed some light on this please, because we’re a little bamboozled here.
