Latest iMac to hit stores this fall

Apple’s recently released iMac – priced at less than AED4,500 – is one of the most affordable Mac desktops from the Cupertino-based company.
The new 21.5-inch iMac is the ideal entry-level Mac desktop as it boasts strong features, from an ultra-thin display and powerful Core i5 processor, to 8GB of memory and a 500GB hard drive.
Earlier this month, Apple announced OS X Yosemite, a powerful new version of OS X, which has been refined with powerful new apps, and the final version of OS X Yosemite will be available for free from the Mac App Store this fall.
Apple products are not known for being cheap, but it seems the company is increasingly looking at ways to make them more cost-effective than ever before.
Back in April, Apple refreshed its line of MacBook Air notebooks, knocking approximately AED400 off its price, but still ensuring performance with more powerful processors.
There are also rumours of a lower-cost and lower-capacity 8GB iPhone 5C in the works.
We doubt Apple has any trouble selling any of their devices, irrespective of its price tag, but we’re championing the trend to make them more affordable. After all, the latest technology should be within everyone’s reach.
