Do you think, like Mark Zuckerberg maybe, that the age of privacy is over? Well you could well be right.
It could be time to freak out, as Caterina Fake, the co-founder of photo sharing site Flickr and a new site Hunch, predicts that 2011 will be the year of “personalization” on the web. What does that mean? It means search engines or other online tools know who you are and tailor your results based on your physical location and your personal preferences.
You know what? This can’t end well. As soon as this thing goes self aware, Kipp is outta here.
