Greek bureaucracy chokes economy
Many would-be investors are deterred by corrupt government bureaucracy.

The public sector in Greece is widely regarded as grotesquely inefficient, suffering from corruption that has been fueled by years of neglect. But over a quarter of the work force in Greece depends on the public sector, with almost every family having a member employed as a civil servant.
An improved, more reliable civil service is greatly needed, and if no rapid reform is made, the country’s recovery will be in jeopardy.
