Russia soldiers on against raging wildfires
A state of emergency has been declared in 14 regions across Russia.

Russia is suffering intensifying rural wildfires which have killed at least 28 people and forced thousands to evacuate their homes. The fires are being promoted by an unprecedented heat wave.
Life is paralyzed in many Russian regions, as toxic smog covered major towns and cities including Moscow. Emergency workers, volunteers and army troops have joined more than 22,000 firefighters in the battle against furious flames.
