Saudi bomb mastermind named as key suspect
Al Qaeda’s Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri revealed as prime suspect.

As the investigation continues, U.S. and Yemeni authorities name Saudi national Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri as a key suspect behind masterminding the recent parcel bombs plot.
Al-Asiri, 28, heads Yemen’s terrorism list and is considered to be one of the top explosives experts of Yemen-based Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. He is also linked to two earlier bomb-making attempts.
