Analysts believe that the ban on Islamic full-face veils could spread across Europe.

Spanish lawmakers will this week debate barring Muslim women from wearing full-face veils, a move that would see them join other European countries such as Belgium, Netherlands and France.

With little resistance, French parliament approved a ban on wearing full-face veils last week, an event that has provoked anger in many Arab and Muslim communities.
