Testing the iPad 2

To all Apple’s fans who eagerly anticipate the new iPad, the wait is over. Join BBC’s Rory Cellan-Jones as he tries out the iPad 2 tablet at its launch event.

Steve Jobs, Apple’s chief executive, made a surprise appearance to launch the iPad 2, the latest version of its touch-screen, tablet-style computer.
The iPad 2 is thinner, lighter and dramatically faster than the original, while it has front-facing camera for making FaceTime video calls.
The hot device will cost between $499 and $829 and is available in black or white.
