In case you missed all the fuss, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year this week, beating Wikleaks founder Julian Assange, the Tea Party, Afghan president Hamid Karzai, and the Chilean miners.
In this interview Michael Elliott, Time’s Deputy Managing Editor, explains to the BBC why the magazine chose the Facebook founder over among others, the Wikileaks whistleblower.
