Emaar Properties and Meraas Holding are launching a new hotel concept, the “Dubai Inn,” which will take place in several locations around the city. The project aims to offer accommodation for the budget-conscious traveler.

As part of Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2020, the emirate is gearing up to double the number of annual tourists to 20 million by the turn of the decade. Consequently, more hotel developers are seizing the chance to cater to the growing demand.

Last May, Dubai-based Skai Holding announced the construction of the $1 billion Viceroy Hotel on The Palm Jumeirah. Moreover, Dubai hotel management company Landmark Hotels & Suites announced it will add three hotels in the emirate this year.
