Qatar sold five cargoes of al Shaheen crude for October loading at steady differentials, despite weakening fuel oil cracks, traders said on Friday.
Qatar International Petroleum Marketing Co, or Tasweeq, sold the 600,000-barrel cargoes at discounts between $1.20 and $1.35 a barrel to Dubai quotes, similar to the levels fetched for September cargoes it sold last month.
Buyers of the cargoes included ExxonMobil, Chevron, Reliance and Mitsui, the traders added.
Asia fuel oil cracks weakened to a discount of $4.90 a barrel to Dubai crude on Friday from a discount of around $4.00 a month earlier.
