One of these initiatives is the transformation of their annual events magazine into a quarterly title. Other plans are the launches of the BeirutNightLife TV and Radio shows, which will be broadcast on MTV and music station NRJ.
The announcements follows the sites recent recognition as the ‘Most Famous Website’ in Lebanon, during the 3rd edition of the “Faces of Lebanon” Awards.
“We had a vision nine years ago to take the image of Lebanon to a global level. In 2009 several major media around the world spoke about BeirutNightLife, which was a proof of our success,” said Jean Ghalo, BeirutNightLife founder/CEO.
Two new digital medias titles are also in the works. “I am also glad to announce that the Dubai version of BeirutNightLife.com is up and running. The new night experience of Dubai (www.pingdubai.com) will cover the best touristic destinations in the cosmopolitan city, presenting a guide to nightlife in Dubai. The other website will be www.dineoutlebanon.com your first ever ultimate video guide to culinary experience,” added Ghalo.
Luxury hotelier Gordon Campbell Gray was present for the event, which was held at his Lebanon hotel, Le Gray.
In 2010, BeirutNightlife.com was ranked as one of the top 5 most visited sites in Lebanon, and ranked as the 42nd leading website globally.
