Du confirms World Cup coverage
Access to Al Jazeera channels for AED 299, says release.

UAE telecoms operator Du has confirmed it will be providing subscribers with the option to watch the FIFA World Cup 2010, says a press release.
“Proving its position as the UAE’s preferred service provider of premium TV entertainment, Du is bringing viewers full live coverage of the much-awaited FIFA World Cup 2010,” says the release.
Du TV subscribers will be able to watch the tournament via the Al Jazeera sports channels, which will be made available to them for a charge of AED 299.
“Du is committed to providing top-class home entertainment to add a little enjoyment and good sporting fun to the lives of people in the UAE,” says Farid Faraidooni, Chief Commercial Officer at Du. “We are pleased to be offering our TV subscribers a great FIFA World Cup package through Al Jazeera Sport Channels, which enables football fans to enjoy full coverage of the event, hassle-free, in different languages, and in standard and High Definition formats.”
