Dubai’s skyscraper the Burj Khalifa, which is the world’s tallest building, has reopened to the public.

The observation deck on the 124th floor reopened yesterday after two months of closure, which developer Emaar put down to “maintenance and upgrade” involving issues with the power supply, according to local press reports.

The closure, in early February, came after a group of visitors became stranded in the tower due to the breakdown of an elevator.

Tickets to the observation deck cost AED100 dirhams in advance, or AED210 on the day.
