Dubai-based business man to launch new airline from Lebanon
New carrier will be first competitor with Lebanon’s MEA.

The monopoly held by Lebanon’s Middle East Airlines, MEA, is reportedly coming to an end. Georges Mousa, owner of Dubai-based Planet Group, has announced he will launch a competitor airline from Lebanon within 18 months, Gulf News reported Thursday.
The airline, which has yet to be named, is pending government approvals, and the opening of Lebanese airspace to competition, the paper reported.
