Emaar Properties has carried out its threat to name residents in its developments who have failed to pay service charges, according to reports.
Arabian Business reports that the developer has publicly posted the names and addresses of those owners who have failed to pay the service charge in at least one of its buildings. The website has acquired a photo of a list of 15 names posted up in the Al Jaz cluster of the Greens.
The notice reads: “We wish to remind the following owners who have Community Service Fees pending with the community. Kindly note that the non-payment of your dues affects your neighbours and the community.
“The above are requested to settle their dues at the earliest including the applicable Late Payment Fee and Debt Collection Charges. Please contact servicefees@emaar.aeThis email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it for further information. We thank you for your cooperation.”
