Etisalat offers Kharafi 1.7 dinar/shr for Zain-source
Etisalat said on Wednesday it had submitted a preliminary conditional offer to buy a stake in Zain.

Emirates Telecommunications Corp(Etisalat) has offered major shareholder the Kharafi Group 1.7 dinars ($5.97) per share for its stake in Kuwaiti telco Zain , a source close to the deal told Reuters.
The source, who declined to be named, was speaking after Etisalat said on Wednesday it had submitted a preliminary conditional offer to buy a stake in Zain.
