Global insurance leaders gear up for INSUREX 2011
Policy magazine, the voice of Middle East insurance, published by Mediaquest Corp., is set to host the 8th Middle East INSUREX 2011, one of the leading forums for principal players and regulators in the insurance industry, which will be organised under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Industry, UAE.

The two-day summit and awards will take place October 25 and 26 at The Address, Dubai Marina.
Bringing together over 300 regional and global experts, the conference will address a range of strategic and operational concerns and will cover a variety of critical topics creating an open platform for discussion, information sharing and networking.
Programme highlights across the two-day forum will include panel discussions on a variety of topics such as: private pension provision and reformation of the market to create multi-pillar pension provision; regulatory challenges and the need for risk-based prudential regulation and mandatory healthcare insurance framework; the challenges to the healthcare industry in MENA region, healthcare Vs managed care challenges; and speech sessions on topics such as technology and growth strategy.
An exhaustive UAE insurance industry report will be released at the conference. The report will shed light on who performed well in the wake of the recession and will look critically at the insurance industry which is set for consolidation, mergers, acquisitions and stricter regulations across the board.
