UAE magazine, Abu Dhabi Tempo, will become the first in the region to utilize Microsoft barcode technology that links the viewer directly with web pages that can be accessed through the mobile phone, Zawya.com reported Tuesday.
The CEO of BrandMoxie, the marketing agency that is publisher of the magazine and promoter of mobile tagging technology, said the technology redefines the readers experience and greatly enhances the print medium.
The tagged version of Abu Dhabi Tempo will be available Tuesday throughout Abu Dhabi in malls, coffee shops, hotels, universities and a large number of building blocks, the report said. An electronic copy of the magazine can also be downloaded from June 1 through www.abudhabitempo.com.
