Nielsen survey finds UAE consumer confidence up on jobs, economic outlook
Consumer confidence in the UAE rose 11 points since December, 10th globally

Consumer confidence index report by the Nielsen Group finds the UAE is among the 10 most optimistic markets in the world, The National reported Friday.
The 11 point boost to 103 placed the country 10th in the world, signaling a marked rise in sentiment among UAE consumers. Four months ago, the UAE ranked 13th in the survey based on consumer fears of a bleak economic future.
Improved sentiment was attributed to an improved employment outlook compared with the results of the Nielsen December survey, with 43 percent of global consumers rating their employment sentiment as excellent or good, the National said.
