Qatar Airways talks with Airbus has stalled, order may be cancelled
Following Emirates' record deal with Boeing, Airbus suffers blow as Qatar Airways CEO becomes more 'pessimistic' at closing a much coveted deal.

Negotiations between Qatar Airways and Airbus over an expected large plane order is at an impasse.
Qatar Airways CEO Akbar al-Baker has reportedly said he is “pessimistic” about an accord before the end of this week’s Dubai Airshow. According to several reports, including here and here.
The news couldn’t have come at a worse time, when Airbus is hoping to flex its muscles after Boeing’s record breaking $18 billion deal with Emirates.
The majority of Qatar Airways’ fleet is from Airbus, although it still has a small order of Boeing plans.
