Qatar to boost spending by 25%

Qatar will boost budget spending by 25 percent in the 2010-2011 fiscal year, according to a report by Gulf Times.
There will be higher spending on major infrastructure projects and in the education and health sectors, according to plans endorsed by ruler Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
According to the official Qatar News Agency (QNA), Qatar expects a budget surplus of QR9.7billion ($2.66 billion) in the next fiscal year.
