Saudi Arabia’s private sector lending rose 4.9 percent in August, the Gulf Arab country’s central bank governor Muhammad al-Jasser said on Sunday.
“This shows that lending is continuing its recovery,” he told a news conference.
Bank claims on the private sector rose at the same annual pace at the end of July, according to central bank data.
The central bank is yet to release August data.
