UAE petrol prices rise
From Thursday, extra 20 fils per liter.

Gulf News reports that the price of petrol in the UAE is set to increase by 20 fils per liter.
The price will be in effect at filling stations across the country from this Thursday, July 15.
A statement issued on Monday by the distributing companies said the increase is part of liberalization of prices and their gradual rise. “The announced rise comes within efforts to gradually mitigate accumulated and growing losses these companies are sustaining due to continuous surge in cost of the product,” the statement said.
It is the second fuel hike this year; the first came in April, when the price jumped by 15 fils a liter.
