Zain, Bharti deal to be finalized on Tuesday

Kuwaiti telco Zain is expected to finalize the sale of most of its African assets to India’s Bharti Airtel this week, according to press reports.
Al-Watan newspaper said that the two companies are expected to sign the ‘final contract’ on Tuesday, according to a report quoted by Bloomberg.
Zain is selling most of its African operations to Bharti for $9 billion.
