Celebrity themed restaurant to open in Dubai.

The new celebrity themed Taste of Fame restaurant, set to officially launch by the end of October, will offer diners the ‘red carpet’ treatment. The new restaurant concept promises a change from the humdrum life of regular dining and, at least for one night, make customers feel like superstars.

Founded by Rabi Youssef and Mohamed Ezzat, the 12,000-square foot joint at the Sunset Mall in Jumeirah is “geared to transform the industry”.

As customers step onto the red carpet (literally) and enter the reception area, they will be greeted by the flashing cameras of ‘paparazzi’.

Diners can then ‘meet’ their favourite Hollywood or Bollywood stars, choosing from 30 A-list celebrity silicon figures – including Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Kim Kardashian, Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan – to ‘dine’ with.

Rabi Youssef, managing partner at Taste of Fame, says that the objective is to offer an exclusive and “memorable experience”.

“What sets us apart is simply in our proposition, which is distinctive in every angle and we believe that we will change the concept of dining,” he adds.

Mohamed Ezzat, managing partner, says: “We don’t claim to be a fine dining concept, but we can definitely say that we offer a unique and unparalleled experience with [a great] ambiance and food that will not be experienced anywhere else.”
