UAE businessman Sulaiman Al Fahim is flying to the UK on Thursday to finalize his takeover of Portsmouth FC, according to a report in Maktoob Business.
“The due diligence is done. We will talk about commercial terms of the deal,” Al Fahim told Maktoob Business.
He did not tell the news website when the deal will be completed, but media reports suggest the deal will be finalized on July 24.
Al Fahim will be sole owner of the football team. “There will be no other owners,” he said.
