Iman bin Laden, the daughter of Al Qaeda head Osama bin Laden, has been given a “travel permit” from the Saudi Arabian embassy in Iran, reports Arabic-language paper Asharq Al-Awsat.
The paper reported last week that a number of Osama bin Laden’s children sought refuge in the Saudi embassy in Tehran following the September 11 attacks on the US. It is believed they entered the country carrying false passports.
Iman bin Laden hopes to travel to her native Saudi Arabia on either Tuesday or Wednesday, the newspaper reports.
