Observation deck at world’s tallest building to reopen after sudden closure.

The observation deck on the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is set to reopen later this week, according to Maktoob News.
The website quoted ticket office officials as saying that said the tower should reopen this week, although the management has yet to confirm an exact date.
Developer Emaar closed the observation deck for “maintenance and upgrade” last week, citing technical issues with the power supply.
While Emaar did not comment on the closure, it did today issue a statement regarding a visit by Lord Peter Mandelson, the UK’s Secretary of State for Business, to the Burj Khalifa observation deck. Lord Mandelson spent nearly 45 minutes touring the building, according to the statement.
