Dubai Police has found new evidence including credit card payments and phone calls made by suspects, which further implicates that Mossad, Israel’s spy agency, was behind the assassination of Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai last month, Arabic daily Al Bayan reported on Saturday.
“Dubai police have information confirming that the suspects purchased travel tickets from companies in other countries with credit cards carrying the same names we have publicized (in the passports),” the paper quoted Dubai police chief Dahi Khalfan Tamim as saying.
The Dubai Police earlier said that the 11 suspects used forged passports, which belonged to people from several European nations.

Wow! What a way to get caught for a crime. Ther police can find you for most crimes due to stupid mistakes by the criminals
Follow the money…who paid for the tickets or any other expenses on said credit cards? Where did the money come from? Which account did the payment come from? If the payments for the credit cards were made in person, check with the payment location’s CCTV cameras. Each bank or financial institution will have CCTV cameras involved in their security plan. Keep going after the money, you will get more evidence supporting the fact that the Mossad is behind this crime. Good job Dubai police, keep it up.
Right now everyone is accusing Mossad, Israel, etc. Hope it does not turn out to be another embarassment like George Bush’s ‘weapons of mass destruction in Iraq’. It may be better to have solid evidence in hand before making high profile public statements. Nevertheless, well done Dubai Police!
So all it really say is; they used fake identities on their credit cards – it doesn’t actually help us find them, but we thought you’d want to know. One should perhaps inform Dubai Police as to the purpose of a false identity.
I find it interesting that Mossad – assuming it was them – may have used the identities of Israeli citizens as well as expats living in Israel to as covers. I can’t decide whether it’s a brilliant stitch up by another country/organisation, or whether people within the Israeli administration are doing their best to stir up trouble internally and weaken some of their rivals by letting themselves get identified so easily.
In this part of the world the second option will get absolutely no attention as they view Israel as they do their own governments, a single unified bloc of people who control power, rather than the reality of democratic government; a loose coalition of warring tribes.
