Sheikh Mohammed’s son, Dubai’s crown prince Sheikh Hamdan, also places a lot of trust in Tamim, and personally honored the police chief for his achievements last month.
Appointed as the crown prince of Dubai in 2008, Sheikh Hamdan is also the chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. The 27-year-old studied at Sandhurst in the UK, and currently heads the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders. He is also president of the Dubai Sports Council, and is well known as a horse rider.
