Passenger traffic at Dubai International Airport rose by 10.7 percent in August over the previous month, Dubai Airports Company announced on Monday.

A total of 3,729,879 passengers used the airport in August.

The airport recorded similar increases throughout the summer, despite the financial crisis. June saw a 10.7 percent hike in passenger traffic, while July saw a 12.6 percent increase.
