Dubai Police has issued warrants for the 11- member team suspected to have killed Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh last month in Dubai, reports The Associated Press.
“Dubai has issued international arrest warrants for all the killers of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh for committing a premeditated murder,” Essam al-Humaidan, Dubai’s attorney general, said in a statement. “The United Arab Emirates has international legal cooperation with most countries that allows it to order their (suspects) handover wherever they are caught,” he added.
Dubai Police released the names and photos of all the suspects on Monday, and all of them are alleged to have European passports. The group apparently killed al-Mabhouh less than 24 hours after they landed in Dubai.
