The Dubai Metro will be open to the public on Thursday, marking a milestone in the emirate’s development. Passengers can access the metro from 6am tomorrow morning.
Only 10 of the 29 stations on the Red Line will be operational on Thursday. The stations are the following: Rashidiya, Airport Terminal 3, Deira City Center, Al Rigga, Union, Khaleed bin Al Waleed, Al Jafiliya, DIFC, Mall of the Emirates and Nakheel Harbour and Tower.
A ticket costs between AED1.80 and AED5.80, depending on the length of the journey. A full day ticket is priced at AED14.
