Emaar is “finalizing” the rebranding of Burj Khalifa

Dubai-based Emaar Properties is in the process of completing the rebranding of the world’s tallest tower from Burj Dubai to Burj Khalifa, the developer told Arabian Business.

Emaar is also working on rebranding the surrounding neighborhood, which is currently called Downtown Burj Dubai.

“Emaar Properties is currently finalizing the rebranding and details will be announced in due course,” an Emaar Properties spokesperson told the business magazine.

The 828 meter tower was officially inaugurated on January 4, when Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Dubai’s Ruler, made the surprise announcement about the change in the tower’s name.
