Emirates’ A380s may return to New York

Tim Clark, the CEO of Dubai-based Emirates airline has said that the carrier’s Airbus 380 flights may return to New York in the first six months of 2010, thanks to recovering passenger demand. The airline started flying the A380 aircraft to New York in August last year, but replaced it with the Boeing 777 in June this year because of the global economic downturn.

The airline is also interested in expanding to other US cities like Washington, Seattle, Boston and Chicago, though not anytime soon, Clark told the Associated Press.
