Etihad sees busiest day in five years

Etihad Airways witnessed its busiest month since its launch in July this year with more than 616,000 passengers flying onboard the Abu Dhabi-based airline. The numbers represent a nine percent increase on passenger numbers as compared to July last year.

The airline also saw its busiest day in five years on 31 July when 21,640 passengers flew onboard Etihad. According to the company’s release, its 900 weekly flights flew at an average of 88 percent full across first, business and economy cabins in July.
